About Me
On paper, I’m a life coach. In practice, I’m a reset button for parents. Hey there, I’m Coach Kimberly Smith, a Life Coach who helps busy, purpose-driven parents get clear on who they are, what they want, and how to create a life that actually feels good.
I know what it feels like to be pulled in so many directions. In the world chasing goals, raising kids, managing careers, and still trying to remember who you are in the process. That used to be my life. I built my coaching practice around helping parents trade burnout for balance and confusion for clarity. Parenting is not just about showing up for others and your kids. You first have to show up for YOU.
As a life coach for parents, I focus on helping you reconnect with your identity beyond the roles you play. Together, we break down mental barriers, build confidence, and design a roadmap that aligns with your goals, values, and the season of life you are in. I meet you exactly where you are. My coaching blends mindset work, leadership tools, and real-life strategies that parents can use immediately.
I believe every parent has a story worth owning. Mine includes becoming a mom at 16, losing my mom at 18, marrying my best friend, finding my voice which empowered me while serving in the military community, navigating transitions, and finding clarity of who
I vividly recall being told, as a child, that I laughed too much. Little did I know that laughter is the secret sauce to nourishing the soul! But who am I, really? To my children, I'm their superhero, while my husband might describe me as a fearless adventurer.
My life has been anything but conventional. I’ve done everything from globe-trotting to planning a wedding in just two weeks to joining the military at 30, launching my own business, and even stepping into the world of Special Education teaching. Each of these adventures was a leap of faith, but looking back, they’ve been some of the most rewarding experiences of my life.
Through all the twists and turns, I’ve learned the value of a clear and focused mind. Life can be noisy, but I find my peace in quiet moments. Whether that’s through a reflective walk or getting lost in a great podcast. Those moments help me reconnect with life’s little nudges, the ones that remind me that what’s meant for me will always find its way.
I’m a risk-taker, a firm believer that life is a journey meant to be embraced in all its uncertainty. And I would love for you to join me in uncovering the magic of stepping into the unknown, finding clarity in the process, and truly living each day with intention.
Let’s take this journey together, because the best stories are always the ones we create!
Why I Became a Parent Coach
Parenting is an incredible journey not just about raising kids, but about discovering who you are in the process. What inspired me to become a parent coach was seeing other parents, like myself, realizing that this path isn’t just about guiding our children, but also about embracing our own growth, struggles, and triumphs along the way.
For me, each phase of parenting peeled back layers of who I am. It’s a journey full of highs and lows, but it’s also one that’s constantly teaching us about resilience, patience, and self-discovery. I realized that so much of successful parenting comes from knowing who you are, owning your story, and staying true to yourself no matter how messy or unpredictable life gets.
Parenting is definitely a risk. It pushes us out of our comfort zones every single day. But that’s where the transformation happens. My approach to coaching is all about helping you connect with yourself, challenge those self-limiting beliefs, and find the courage to live your own journey authentically. Because when you’re grounded in who you are, everything else falls into place, and you can lead your family from a place of confidence and clarity.
